Whitebuck Music Publishing was incorporated
in the summer of 1995 as a publishing company associated and joint ventured
with Whites Farm Recording Studio’s.
Its main aim was to act as the natural
extension to the work that Gary White was producing in his recording studio on
the outskirts of Manchester.
Gary had proved to be a successful writer/producer working with a number
of acts to write and produce on their behalf. He had considerable chart success
throughout Europe with his songs. Having tasted success
he felt it was a wise move to form a publishing company to further enhance his
work and also to search for other available product to publish. Because
unsigned artists used his studio’s, he came into contact with a wide variety of
artists, some of whom Whitebuck Music Publishing has subsequently signed.
There are two other directors with Gary on the board of the
company. Roy Hastings, Managing Director, who as the major force behind
Britain’s foremost provider of shows to civic venues, Entertainment Trade
Management Ltd, is perfectly placed to source potential clients for the
publishing company and Stuart Hobday, Administration Director, who formerly
worked for Kennedy Street Enterprises, one of the UK’s top live music promotion
companies.
Between the three individuals, they bring
to the company a wealth of experience in the entertainment and most
importantly, the music business. This has enabled Whitebuck Music Publishing
Ltd to sign writers and artists from all areas of the music spectrum…..so from
Dance tracks and re-mixes to middle of the road ballads sung by the likes of
Daniel O’Donnell, they have writers of great talents.
